Saturday Clinics
The Family Health Centers operate Saturday clinics at one location each Saturday.  Whether you're a patient at any of our locations, you can receive the same professional services with the provider on call. To schedule an appointment call 258-8681 Saturday morning for a same day appointment.
The Saturday clinics are open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Newest health guidelines recommend people consume no more than 2400 mg of sodium a day. That’s equal to 1 teaspoon of table salt, which is composed of sodium chloride. This total amount of sodium includes what is already in the product upon purchase, the amount added in cooking or preparation, and the amount added at the table. Most people consume excess sodium by eating too many processed foods and also by adding too much salt to their food.

Patient Education - Exercise

One of the best ways to improve your health, energy and longevity is through daily activity and exercise. The U.S. 2005 exercise guidelines recommend moderate to vigorous exercise (aerobic / cardiovascular) most days of the week, that is, at least 5 days a week. 30 minutes a day will help manage your blood sugars, blood pressure and triglycerides and improve the health of your heart. 60 minutes a day is advised to maintain your current weight and 90 minutes a day is encouraged for weight loss.

This is a diet for people with lactose intolerance. Symptoms include: bloating, gas, cramping and diarrhea after the ingestion of dairy products. The severity of this condition varies widely with individuals. Some people have more tolerance to dairy products and need only restrict certain foods.
